Hamas’ military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, handed over 4 Israeli female captives to the Red Cross in the second exchange of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement that began in the Gaza Strip on January 19.
The captives, who departed on a Red Cross vehicle at the Palestine Square in the Gaza Strip, are planned to be taken to a military facility near the Israel-Gaza border, where they will undergo initial health checks before being transferred to a hospital and reunited with their families.
Israel is expected to release 200 Palestinians and hand them over to the Red Cross teams.
