Hamas’ military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, handed over the bodies of Shiri Bibas and her children Ariel Bibas and Kfir Bibas, who were killed in Israeli airstrikes, and 83-year-old Oded Lifshitz to the Red Cross in the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis.
A short military ceremony will be held after the bodies are delivered to Israeli forces in Gaza.
Hamas had previously announced that Shiri Bibas and her two children were killed in an Israeli airstrike in November 2023. Her husband, Yarden, was released in a prisoner swap.
