Hamas’ military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched M90 rockets targeting Tel Aviv in response to Israel’s continued strikes on the Gaza Strip. The attack was framed as retaliation for what Hamas called the “massacres of civilians” and the forced displacement of Palestinians.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the rocket fire from southern Gaza, noting that some rockets struck central Israel. Air raid sirens were activated in Tel Aviv, Holon, Rishon Lezion, and Bat Yam, warning citizens to follow emergency protocols.
