Heavy hail hit the Çumra district of Konya, Turkey. The hail, which lasted for about 10 minutes, affected negatively life in the district center. Trees were ripped, and the roads have turned white. The hail caused extensive damage to all crops, particularly corn, as well as fruit trees in the district center and agricultural lands in the surrounding areas.
A full moon rising over Lake Van in the Ahlat district of Türkiye’s Bitlis province created a breathtaking spectacle as it reflected off the calm waters. Locals and visitors gathered along the lakeshore to witness and photograph the scene, with many describing it as an unforgettable moment.
Nature photographer Şahin Şerefoğlu, who captured the moonrise at Ahlat Pier, said, “We’re in one of the most beautiful places to watch the full moon. We invite all nature lovers to experience this view.”
Travelers from other regions, including Şanlıurfa, also came to enjoy the view, turning the lakeside into a popular spot for moon gazing and photography.
