Heavy Rain Paralyzes Streets in Türkiye

In Türkiye, particularly in Izmir, heavy rainfall warned by the General Directorate of Meteorology resulted in streets and avenues turning into lakes. The Çınarlı District of Konak and Menemen district faced traffic difficulties due to flooded streets. In Çeşme district, heavy rain caused roads to transform into lakes, flooding a house and affecting drivers, tradesmen, and citizens. Yeşillik Street in Izmir experienced a traffic standstill due to slippery conditions. Despite challenges, intermittent rain is expected to continue throughout the day in various parts of Türkiye.
