Heavy rains that started last night in Turkish city Kastamonu caused floods in many districts. Some villages were flooded with the collapse of the HEPP in Bozkurt town. The flood waters overflowing from the Ezine Stream submerged the city center. Vehicles remaining in the flood waters drifted towards the sea. People tried to protect themselves by fleeing to higher altitudes in the city, and one person is suspected of dying.
