Heavy Snowfall Disrupted Air Transportation in Germany

Air transportation in Germany was disrupted due to heavy snowfall that started last week. After hundreds of flights were canceled at Munich Airport, 10,000 suitcases could not be delivered back to their owners. In Frankfurt Airport, where takeoffs and landings were frequently delayed, 20 flights were canceled. Hamburg Airport, which was covered in snow, was cleaned after hours of effort.
