Three died after a Black Hawk helicopter crashed into the ground during a flight training in Afghanistan. Enayatullah Kharazmi, the Spokesperson of Taliban’s Ministry of National Defense, stated that the helicopter crashed into the campus of the National Defense University because of a technical problem occurred during the training. Kharazmi also stated that two pilots and an employee died and 5 injured.

Iceland Evacuates Town as Volcano Erupts Again

A volcano on Iceland’s Reykjanes Peninsula erupted again, prompting the evacuation of the town of Grindavik and a nearby spa center. The Icelandic Meteorological Office reported that the eruption began at 09:45 local time, forming a 700-meter-long crack in the ground.

Authorities had closed off the area before the eruption. The volcano, which last erupted in December 2023, has been intermittently active since 2021.
