Two helicopters collided on the beach near the Seaworld Theme Park in Australia’s popular tourist spot, the Gold Coast. In the collision, which took place around 2 p.m. local time, 4 people died and 8 were injured, 3 were in serious condition. Many ambulances and rescue teams were sent to the scene.
Gary Worrell of Queensland police told reporters that the incident occurred when one helicopter collided while landing and the other was taking off. The investigation into the incident continues.
