One of the rockets launched by Hezbollah yesterday into Israel hit a building in the coastal city of Nahariya. Magen David Adom, the national aid society of Israel, announced that two people in their 40s were killed in the building.
The Israeli army said 10 rockets were fired from Lebanon and that some of the rockets were intercepted by the air defense system, while others fell in residential areas or open areas.
Police detained 193 people during a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Berlin, where officers intervened forcefully overnight. Authorities said those detained are under investigation for 65 offenses, including assault and use of banned symbols. Around 1,500 police were deployed at 21 protests involving both pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian groups, with reinforcements from five states. While pro-Israel rallies were permitted, Berlin police banned a planned pro-Palestinian demonstration at Alexanderplatz, prompting about 500 people to gather despite the ban.
