Azahara Aylin, a 14-year-old high school student who hit her classmate, Norma Lizbeth, on the head with a stone during a fight in Teotihuacan, Mexico, on February 21, was arrested after trying to flee to the United States with her mother after her friend’s death.
14-year-old Norma Lizbeth was taken to the hospital by her relatives after she lost consciousness on March 13 and died on March 15.
The high school principal was dismissed for not taking effective action in the incident.
