Honduran President’s Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing

A helicopter carrying Honduran President Xiomara Castro was forced to make an emergency landing in a mountainous area near Santa Cruz de Yojoa due to heavy fog.

Castro and her entourage safely exited the aircraft. She later stated, “The weather was very cloudy, and we tried to return to San Pedro. Thank God, we are all okay and found a good place to land.”
