Turkish Flags and posters of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk were hung on the famous hot air balloons of Cappadocia, a tourism center known for its historical, cultural and natural riches, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List of Türkiye, on the occasion of the 30 August Victory Day. A total of 152 hot air balloons that took off one after another from the take-off areas in and around Göreme created a visual feast.
“We are happy to celebrate this meaningful day in the sky. We commemorate our brothers in arms, martyrs and veterans, especially Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with gratitude. Happy August 30 Victory Day,” said Kemal Kaya, a hot air balloon pilot.
