Hotel Fire Death Toll Rises to 78 in Türkiye’s Bolu

Authorities in Türkiye reported that the number of people who died in the fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Kartalkaya Ski Resort, which is about 45 minutes from the nearest settlement in Bolu, has risen to 78.

It was previously reported that over 50 people at the hotel were injured as well.

Nine people, including the hotel owner, have been detained in the investigation into the incident.
