Houthis Release Footage of Attack on Oil Tanker in Red Sea

The Houthis have released video footage of their attack on the Greek-flagged Sounion oil tanker, which has been burning in the Red Sea since August 23. The footage shows armed Houthi militants placing and detonating explosives on the vessel. Despite ongoing fires, a temporary ceasefire has been accepted by the Houthis to allow rescue operations. The ceasefire, announced by Iran’s Mission to the United Nations, aims to facilitate the arrival of tugboats and rescue ships to the tanker.
