A massive fire broke out in the afternoon at a plastics factory in the Lalbagh district of Bangladesh’s capital, Dhaka. The fire began at 12:06 p.m. local time, and officers began intervening to control the flames at 12:14 p.m., local authorities said. Firefighters made no statements about the loss of life or property. 12 firefighters are still working to put out the fire, which has covered the sky in black smoke and flames, authorities added.
