The irrigation pond built by State Hydraulic Works (DSI) in Şendurak Neighborhood of Oltu district of Erzurum, Türkiye, has turned into a magnificent natural wonder that offers a stunning view with turquoise water.
Local authorities aim to make the region a center of attraction by building bungalow houses and picnic areas around the pond.
“It has a magnificent view. The color of the pond is turquoise and we have an area that sometimes turns into an island and sometimes into a peninsula. We are starting our project soon. May it bring good luck to Oltu,” said Oltu Mayor Adem Çelebi.
