These attacks followed Hamas’ Operation Aqsa Flood and caused numerous Palestinian casualties, with 704 deaths and 3,900 injuries reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Israeli airstrikes also targeted other residential areas and caused extensive damage to public buildings, roads, and essential infrastructure in several Gaza cities.

Russia carried out one of its largest attacks on Kiev since the war began, damaging seven districts and injuring four people. In Odessa, two people were killed and nine wounded after strikes hit homes and a maternity hospital.
President Zelenskyy said Russia used 315 drones—250 of them Shahed UAVs—and seven missiles, including North Korean-made ballistic missiles. Ukraine shot down 277 drones.
