Hurricane Agatha claims 10 lives in Mexico

Hurricane Agatha, the first named storm of the summer, has downgraded to tropical cyclone after making landfall in Oxaca, southern Mexico. Rivers overflowed due to the storm, which caused heavy rains and strong winds reaching 205 km/h per hour throughout the state. Landslides occurred and power outage were experienced in some regions. 10 killed and 20 people have gone missing, state officials said.

The cyclone continues to move towers the northeast of the country, authorities said.
