Hurricane Ian hit the US state of Florida after Cuba, the US National Hurricane Center (NHC) said. The storm and heavy rains caused floods in the state ahead of the hurricane. Around 2,500,000 people living in Florida were ordered to evacuate this morning. The state governor said that 42,000 soldiers, 7,000 national guards, 179 aircraft, and many surface vehicles are ready to fight the hurricane. More than 100,000 people have been left without power.
