Hurricane Idalia, which caused floods in western Cuba, reached the land in the US state of Florida yesterday morning. The hurricane caused heavy rainfall and winds in the region. Having climbed up to category 3 on the Saffir–Simpson hurricane wind scale when reaching Florida, Idalia caused the sea to overflow in the state and flood many cities. A total of three people died in the states of Georgia and Florida.
