Hurricane Norma hit the resort city of Los Cabos, located on the southern coast of Mexico’s Baja California Sur peninsula. The hurricane, whose speed reached 220 km/h per hour, triggered heavy rains. Many flights were canceled, and airports were closed. Baja California Sur Governor Victor Manuel Castro warned the people of the region to stay in their homes between 18:00 and 19:00 local time. The hurricane is expected to maintain its power tomorrow.
