The category 3 level hurricane, Roslyn, killed 2, in Ixcuintla city of Mexico’s Nayarit state. According to authorities, a 39-year-old woman and an 80-year-old man died as their houses collapsed due to the hurricane.
The western region of the country is facing heavy rains and storms, which flooded houses and workplaces and destroyed many trees.
The National Meteorological Service of Mexico reported that Roslyn will decrease to a tropical storm level as long as it advances over land. However, heavy rains and strong winds continue affecting the country. The meteorological service warned citizens against flooding and landslides that may occur.
