The International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruled that racial discrimination cases filed by Azerbaijan and Armenia related to the Nagorno-Karabakh region will continue. The ICJ rejected Armenia’s objections to its jurisdiction over Azerbaijan’s case, confirming the case would proceed on its merits. Additionally, Armenia’s objections regarding accusations of mine-laying and booby traps were dismissed in a 16-1 vote, allowing Azerbaijan’s claims to be heard in full.
