Ilham Aliyev Attends Test Flight of New Turkish UCAVs 

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visited the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Academy of the Azerbaijani Air Force in Baku with his son Heydar Aliyev to closely see the Akıncı unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAV) that were recently purchased from Türkiye. After receiving information about their new drones from Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov and Baykar Chairman of the Board Selçuk Bayraktar, Aliyev attended the test flight performed on the academy runway. He then headed the control station and flew one himself.
