Polish border guards said 180 illegal migrants crossed from Belarus into Poland through a tunnel dug under the border. More than 130 people have been detained, while searches continue for the rest.
The tunnel was discovered near the Narewki area. Authorities said the migrants are from Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, and Bangladesh. Two suspected smugglers, one Polish and one Lithuanian citizen, were also arrested.
