Visitors ushered in the new year with a breathtaking view of the region and its first sunrise from above, riding the hot air balloons that float over its fairy chimneys and unique landscapes. These balloons typically take flight early in the morning, lasting approximately an hour, offering riders a captivating sunrise panorama from the sky.
Hot air balloon pilot Ahmet Başyiğit, thrilled with the perfect weather for their fourth New Year’s Day flight in a decade, expressed enthusiasm for the new year. He shared, “It’s a beautiful start to the year. We’re aiming for a wonderful flight. May the new year bring in more tourists and more flights. The weather is clear, perfect for catching the sunrise. Flying on New Year’s Day for the fourth time in the last ten years makes us really happy.”
