A mountaineer was rescued by a helicopter after getting injured in a valley in the Italian city of Matera. The 50-year-old man was injured and stranded in the valley around the Gravina River, who was put on a stretcher by the rescue teams. The man was then taken into the helicopter with rescue rope. The injured man was transferred to a hospital for treatment.
