The international “Baku 2023” exercise took place at the Baku International Maritime Trade Port in Azerbaijan’s capital, organized by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Emergency Situations. This exercise involved emergency management and search and rescue teams from member countries of the Organization of Turkish States (TDT). It was overseen by Azerbaijan’s Minister of State of Emergency, Kemaleddin Haydarov, and attended by TDT Secretary General Ambassador Kubaniçbek Ömuraliyev, among others. The exercise included 8 helicopters, 1 amphibious aircraft, 245 special-purpose vehicles, 6 specially trained dogs, and 1,180 personnel from TDT member countries. The scenario included responding to a radioactive leak, firefighting with helicopters and amphibious aircraft, and a rescue operation for a ship with an explosion.

On the 6th day of its offensive, the Israeli army struck multiple military targets in Tehran, including a centrifuge production facility and several missile factories.
According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the sites were linked to Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, including factories producing raw materials for surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missiles. Over 50 Israeli warplanes participated in the overnight strikes.
Iranian media confirmed attacks on the Khojir missile facility and the Imam Hussein University, affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. Explosions were reported in eastern Tehran around 05:00.
