An intruder broke into the parliament in India on the anniversary of an armed attack on the parliament by five gunmen on December 13, 2001. The person who infiltrated the hall during the ongoing discussions in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the parliament, threw a colored smoke bomb inside and jumped from the visitors’ section to the rows of MPs. He was beaten by the MPs and detained.

In the armed attack on the building in India 22 years ago, 9 people, including 8 police officers, were killed and 15 others were injured.
