Iran Backs Azerbaijan’s Sovereignty Over Karabakh

During his official visit to Baku, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian voiced support for Azerbaijan’s sovereignty, stating, “Karabakh is an inseparable part of Azerbaijan and we respect it.” In a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the two leaders highlighted recent diplomatic progress and pledged to deepen ties. Aliyev noted that key agreements would be signed to strengthen cooperation between the two nations.
