Iran Granted Full Membership in SCO

The 23rd Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, hosted by India, resulted in Iran being granted full membership to the organization. Chinese President Xi called for practical cooperation and peace in the region. The summit concluded with the acceptance of the New Delhi declaration and decisions on combating terrorism, digital transformation, and decarbonization.
