Iran Highlights Cooperation with Türkiye Over Gaza-Lebanon Attacks

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ismail Bekayi emphasized the importance of cooperation with Türkiye, particularly in efforts to stop Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon. In a press conference, Bekayi mentioned that Iran is working with Türkiye to prevent further massacres and highlighted their ongoing coordination with Hamas officials in Istanbul. He also noted the significance of Iran-Türkiye relations in ensuring peace in Syria and combating terrorism, including the PKK. Meanwhile, Bekayi confirmed that nuclear negotiations with the US via Oman are on hold, though diplomatic channels remain open through Switzerland.
