Iran introduced its two new domestically produced defense systems, “Arman” and “Azerkhesh,” with a ceremony in the capital, Tehran. It was stated that Arman, which is an anti-ballistic air defense system, stood out with its ability to focus on six targets simultaneously from a distance of 120–180 kilometers, and that Azerkhesh, a low altitude air defense system, had the capacity to fire four missiles on land and sea at a distance of 50 kilometers. It was also noted that the systems offer a tactical advantage as they can be mounted on vehicles, which allows them to be transported quickly.
