Following talks in Tehran with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, Arakchi emphasized that cooperation with the IAEA is ongoing and aims to reduce tensions through a new roadmap for dialogue. He urged that diplomacy is the only path forward and expressed hope for a balanced approach from the U.S. and European countries. Reiterating Iran’s commitment to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, Arakchi stated, “We are ready to negotiate, but only within a cooperative and respectful framework.”
