The Bahraini Ministry of Interior confirmed that Iranian strikes hit a hotel and two residential buildings in the capital, Manama, early Friday. While the attacks sparked a fire in one residence, authorities reported no casualties, though the buildings sustained significant material damage.
The strikes reportedly targeted the area near the Financial Harbour Towers, which houses the Israeli embassy. Bahraini security forces also intercepted and destroyed an Iranian drone near the complex. This incident follows a week of escalating tensions, with Bahrain previously reporting the interception of dozens of missiles and over 120 drones since the start of the regional conflict.
