The Iranian flag was lowered to half-staff at the Iranian Embassy in Baku after the deaths of Iranian President Ebrahmin Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and the accompanying delegation in a helicopter crash yesterday.
The crash took place in East Azerbaijan province after a dam opening ceremony was held on the Azerbaijan-Iran border and is thought to have occurred due to dense fog.
