Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, on an official visit to Pakistan, emphasized the longstanding amicable relations between the two nations, stating, “Iran and Pakistan have never had a border problem.” Following a meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Jalil Abbas Jilani in Islamabad, the ministers conducted a joint press conference, highlighting mutual agreements and cooperation.
Jilani expressed the significance of bilateral ties, emphasizing joint commitments to political, security, and economic collaboration. Both countries pledged a collective approach in the fight against terrorism, respecting each other’s sovereignty. The leaders also agreed to enhance economic cooperation for the welfare of border regions.
