Iran’s Pezeshkian Rejects US Pressure With Turkish Poem

Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian dismissed US pressure, stating that Iran is open to talks but will not negotiate under threats or sanctions. Speaking in Tehran, he criticized US demands, saying, “They impose sanctions and then ask us to disarm.”

Pezeshkian reinforced his stance with a Turkish poem, emphasizing that Iran will not submit to coercion. He also addressed US and Israeli threats, asserting, “Some fear Israel because of US support, but we do not and will not.” His remarks received strong applause.
