Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian responded sharply to US President Donald Trump’s anti-Iran statements, saying, “I don’t have time to listen to Trump’s words. Those calling us thieves are the ones plundering the world.”
Speaking during a visit to Kermanshah, Pezeshkian accused the US of double standards, supporting wars while claiming to defend human rights. He said Iran seeks peace, not conflict, and warned, “Trump only dreams we’ll back down with pressure. We won’t bow to any tyrant.”
He also criticized Israel’s military actions in Gaza, saying, “They massacred 60,000 innocents with US and EU backing.” Pezeshkian called for regional unity, emphasizing, “This region belongs to us, not others. Our qibla is one, we are brothers.”
Meanwhile, Trump, at the GCC-US Summit in Riyadh, said Iran must end support for terrorism and halt its nuclear ambitions before any deal can be made.
