Ben Gurion University in Beersheba, Israel, reported that six of its research laboratories were destroyed and nine others damaged during Iran’s June 19 retaliatory missile strikes. The university said, “Years of work on medical and biological research have been lost,” and estimated damages in the tens or hundreds of millions of shekels. Classrooms, the anatomy lab, and 30 campus buildings were affected. Homes of 98 faculty and students were also damaged, with dozens evacuated and relocated to student dormitories.
