Iran’s Supreme Leader Warns of Unstoppable Muslim Response to Israeli Attacks

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has declared that continued Israeli attacks could provoke an unstoppable response from Muslim and resistance forces. During a meeting with accomplished figures in science, culture, art, and sports, Khamenei emphasized the duty of intellectuals and scientists not to tolerate oppression or hunger among the oppressed. He called for a global trial of the Israeli regime, citing the widely witnessed Palestinian genocide.

Khamenei warned that the anger among Muslims regarding Israeli attacks is palpable and widespread, both within Islamic and some Western countries. He refuted claims that those in Israeli settlements are unarmed civilians, stating that the regime targets civilians intentionally. Khamenei blamed the United States for orchestrating the recent attacks and called for an immediate halt to the bombings.

Hundreds of thousands of Iranians took to the streets after Friday prayers to protest Israel’s recent attacks on the country. The largest gatherings occurred in the capital, Tehran, where demonstrators marched following prayers at Tehran University.

High-ranking officials, including Iran’s Constitutional Court head Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei and former IRGC commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, joined the protest. Participants waved Iranian, Palestinian, and resistance group flags, and trampled on Israeli and US flags laid on the ground.

Protesters held banners reading “Down with Israel”, “Down with the US”, and “The Zionist regime will be destroyed”, while chanting slogans such as “We stand behind our leader”, “Everyone who clashed with Khamenei will eventually be destroyed”, and “Our right to nuclear weapons”.
