Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia Sudani met with Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masoud Barzani in Erbil to discuss key issues, including resuming oil exports in the KRG and enhancing cooperation for stability in Iraq. The talks highlighted the importance of organizing oil exports to meet public needs and implementing a federal court ruling on KRG public employees’ salaries.
The leaders also discussed preparing for a national census, with the aim to finalize technical details in collaboration with the KRG Statistics Institution. Additionally, they stressed the need for unity in safeguarding Iraq’s security amid ongoing regional tensions.
