The Ihsaniye Irrigation Dam near Tokat, Türkiye, experienced a rare phenomenon as its surface froze amid cold weather, forming captivating visuals captured by a drone. Located 80 kilometers from Tokat’s center, the dam, nestled at the foot of Çamlıbel Pass, is popular among citizens, offering a picturesque scene with frozen waters surrounded by green pine trees.
Residents, including 25-year-old Kürşad Yavuz, took advantage of the icy spectacle, enjoying a picnic on the frozen lake with friends. Yavuz described the unique experience, stating, “Our Tokat has different summers and winters. Today we are off with our friends, enjoying the moment by lighting a fire and watching nature.”
