Japanese authorities announced that the number of deaths in the 7.6 magnitude earthquake that occurred on January 1 increased to 110 and the injured increased to 606. Teams continue to search for 211 missing people.
The Ishikawa provincial government announced that temporary housing would be built for earthquake victims and the construction work would start next week.
