The Israeli army carried out an airstrike on Tulkarem refugee camp in the West Bank last night. The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that 18 people were killed in the attack and many were injured.
Palestinian media reported that Raith Radwan, the field commander of the Islamic Jihad’s military wing in Tulkarem, was one of those killed in the attack.
The Israeli army stated that the attack was a joint operation with Israel’s domestic intelligence agency Shin Bet.
