Israeli forces targeted the school belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East in the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in the center of the Gaza Strip yesterday. In the attack on al Jaouni School, where thousands of displaced Palestinians took shelter, 16 civilians lost their lives and 50 civilians were injured, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported.

More than 100 people were detained in Los Angeles, USA, after protests against immigration raids by ICE turned violent. Demonstrators clashed with police and set vehicles on fire near the federal detention center downtown.
Mayor Karen Bass blamed “marginal groups” for the violence, stating, “This has nothing to do with real immigrant rights protests.” She urged the Trump administration to halt immigration operations, calling them a source of fear and chaos.
