On Monday, Israel’s National Drone Initiative entered its third phase. For the first time, drones delivered goods to customers in central Israel. “What we see in the future is basically drones taking all kinds of deliveries. This market will expand to a lot of other things.” said Guy Mizrahi, Business Development Manager at Cando Drones.
The National Drone Initiative began flying over cities in January. The two-year project aims to build a national network of air corridors for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) deliveries of medicine, medical examinations and equipment, e-commerce, and other services.
