The Israeli army launched a large-scale ground offensive in Gaza City under Operation Gideon’s Chariots II, involving three divisions of the Southern Command. The IDF said the push follows extensive airstrikes on more than 850 targets aimed at weakening Hamas defenses.
Civilians Urged To Evacuate
Army spokesperson Avichay Adraee warned residents that Gaza City is a “dangerous war zone” and urged civilians to leave via Rashid Street toward designated areas in southern Gaza.
