The Israeli army continues to keep all entrances to Hebron closed after 4 Israelis were injured in 2 separate incidents in Gush Etzion and Karmei Tzur, the usurped Palestinian territories in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, four days ago.

“Israeli checkpoints cause us a lot of trouble. We are prevented from passing through the main street of Al-Fawwar camp and if we approach, Israeli occupation soldiers shoot us,” said Palestinian Omar Hussein.

“Palestinian people have been suffering from blockades and sieges for many years. Israeli occupation soldiers prevent us from walking in the streets outside Hebron. They throw sound bombs and tear gas at us, but this policy will not break the will of the Palestinian people. Moreover, the city of Hebron is considered the foundation of the Palestinian economy and has suffered greatly as a result of the Israeli occupation closing the city,” said Kamel Tarwa, another Palestinian.
